We started the company January 2, 2002.
We help people who need temporary office or storage space or permanent
space quickly.
Prior to this I was working in sales in the mobile office and modular building industry for a big national company. I'm a salesman who struck out on his own!
I began working with Sales Concepts in my prior job in April 2001 and have continued to with our new company. My two partners have now gone through Sales Concept's programs.
The impetus for my initial decision to work with sales concepts was my
frustration in continually giving up my expertise before getting the business. I wanted to stop doing unpaid consulting!
The premise of our company is that we are not for everybody. Companies
who will buy on price only and aren't concerned about the quality of the
equipment and service probably don't want to buy from us.
My primary responsibility is to act as a general manager. I do a lot of administrative and financial work. A lot of the negotiating with our suppliers and bankers and all this takes up the majority of my time. At my prior company my sole responsibility was to sell.
I now only sell 25% of the time and this year I have sold more in dollar volume than I did when I devoted 100% of my time to selling and I attribute that to the concepts and techniques I’ve learned from Sales
Concepts.
I sold less in 100% of my time than I now sell in 25% of my time and that's a testament to their non-traditional business training.
